PROCESSING

When discussing sustainable fashion, resource evaluation often stops at the origin of raw materials. However, fabric processing, dyeing, and washing technologies within the production framework carry an equally critical environmental impact. Conventional mass-production processing remains heavily burdened by toxic chemical compounds during coloration, alongside excessive water and carbon expenditure throughout repetitive chemical laundering.

To challenge this, we prioritize textile engineering that eliminates thermal waste, reduces fluid expenditure, and bans toxic catalytic compounds from the finishing phase. True sustainability requires transforming not just what our garments are made of, but how they are processed.

ENZYME WASHING //

A bio-based, non-toxic finishing method that utilizes natural cellulase enzymes to soften fabrics and create an organic, worn-in texture.

Unlike conventional industrial washes that rely on harsh chemical softeners or physical pumice stones to abrade the fabric, this process introduces biodegradable enzymes that specifically target and digest only the microscopic protruding fibers on the cotton surface. This unclogs the fabric weave, resulting in an exceptionally smooth, fluid hand-feel.

Operating at significantly lower temperatures, enzyme washing drastically reduces factory thermal energy consumption. It eliminates the heavy sludge waste generated by traditional stone-washing (which degrades garment fibers and destroys washing machinery), while using a completely biodegradable compound that leaves zero toxic residues in post-production water.

LASER FINISHING //

The application of computer-controlled laser beams to abrade textile surfaces, replacing manual and chemical distress methods. The laser instantly vaporizes the indigo dye on the surface of the denim to create specific high-light zones, vintage worn-out whiskers, and geometric details based on digital inputs.

Traditionally, "worn" aesthetics require sandblasting (highly hazardous to workers' respiratory systems) or potassium permanganate (a toxic heavy metal wash). Laser finishing replaces both with precise light energy, operating as a completely waterless, zero-chemical, and worker-safe protocol.

COOLTRANS® TECHNOLOGY //

A proprietary cold transfer printing mechanism engineered to replicate complex denim washes without traditional hot dye liquid mediums. Instead of submerging textiles in repetitive indigo chemical baths, this tech prints high-resolution denim textures and reactive inks onto a specialized film, which are then compressed onto raw, white PFD (Prepared for Dyeing) base fabric. Color fixation occurs at ambient room temperature. Conserves 70%–90% of water compared to conventional jeans-laundry processes. It eliminates the thermal energy needed for high-temperature fixation (saving ~65% energy) and ensures zero chemical run-off into local waterways.

DIGITAL PRINTING //

A computer-driven ink-jet printing technology that applies pigments directly onto fabric surfaces, bypassing the need for physical printing screens or excess dye mixing. Much like a standard paper printer at home, digital textile machinery interprets digital artwork files and deposits micro-droplets directly onto the textile with absolute geometric precision, achieving crisp details and unlimited color gradients.

We strictly source certified, non-toxic inks to ensure each garment remains completely skin-safe and earth-safe. Operating as a highly controlled, on-demand process with minimal minimum order quantity (MOQ) restrictions compared to traditional fabric weaving or screen printing, this technology eliminates the heavy burden of deadstock fabrics, granting the designer ultimate creative freedom to experiment without producing wasteful overstock.

Sustainable design requires more than creativity—it demands clean, precise, and circular systems that respect both humanity and the ecosystem.
